CK Ong is the COO of SBI Digital Markets and is responsible for the development and execution of business strategies, establishing industry-leading operations and institutional-grade risk management framework. CK is a highly experienced professional in global and regional banks, having close to 20 years of experience in strategy, operations and risk management across financial markets, transaction banking and digital assets.

CK was previously in Singapore-based United Overseas Bank’s strategic Blockchain and Digital Assets unit which drives blockchain strategy and its applications for the bank. Before that, he held senior positions in UOB and prior to that, Standard Chartered Bank for 10 years in Singapore, Korea and China where he specialized in setting up new business for the bank in several countries across Asia.
