Ts. Dr. Mohamad Nizam Kassim currently serves as the Deputy Director of the National Anti-Financial Crime Centre (NFCC) under the Prime Minister’s Department of Malaysia. He spearheads strategic initiatives focused on the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI), particularly in the development of systems for financial crime profiling and intelligence analysis. His research works encompass knowledge graphs, graph analytics, generative AI, and fraud analytics including prompt injection to AI Agents. Dr. Nizam plays a pivotal role in driving the integration of advanced AI technologies to strengthen Malaysia’s capabilities in detecting, analyzing, and mitigating complex financial crimes and scams.
