Dr Siew is the Group Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer of Maybank, the top Malaysian banking group with presence in 10 South East Asian countries and major global financial centers. Reporting to the Group CEO and as a member of the Group EXCO team, he is responsible for developing and executing strategies for the Group, including focusing on broadening and deepening the digitalization agenda. 

Dr Siew is experienced in partnering with the Board of Directors, C-Level management and governments to design and implement large scale strategic transformation, especially for major banks in the UK and Asia (e.g. Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc.) across retail, SME, corporate, investment banking and insurance.
 
He holds a PhD (with full scholarship) and a Bachelor degree (1st Class Hons) in Engineering from the University of Southampton, UK. He also graduated with an MBA from the London Business School. Dr Siew has been keynote speaker for major conferences/seminars (AICB, ASLI, Asia Fintech News, MDEC), radio and TV stations e.g. BFM, Astro Awani and author of numerous papers on Fintech Disruption and Digital Banking. He is granted with 3 patents by the UK Patent Office.
