Ian W. Lloyd (“Ian”) was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Kenanga Digital Sdn Bhd ("KDSB"), working to bring more accessible investment options to more people with Kenanga's own wealth-centric 'Super App'.
Before focusing full-time on the new 'Super App', Ian was the Chief Digital Officer of Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad (“KIBB”) since 2022. He is an established fintech specialist who works closely with various teams within the intersection of business and technology, creating category-defining products and services with a focus on collaborative, ecosystem-driven business models.
Ian comes with expertise in driving global financial technology-abled transformation portfolios as well as leading multi-disciplinary rapid prototyping teams for co-creating innovation. He has worked with various financial institutions across ASEAN, Europe and the US – tackling extensive challenges in preparation for the future world of work.
Prior to his appointment as Chief Digital Officer, Ian was the Vice President and Head of Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) in Strategy and Delivery at MatchMove Pay (Singapore & Malaysia). Ian's previous employment also includes CIMB Malaysia and Deloitte United Kingdom respectively.
He holds a Master of Science in Information Systems and Technology from Drexel University in US, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Warwick Business School, University of Warwick in the UK.
